Upcoming Car Tata HBX micro SUV in Affordable Price : TATA Motors

Tata Motors will launch the production version of the HBX micro SUV in the country in the second quarter of 2021.

The new model has been spotted testing several times on the Indian roads. It will be the brand’s second product to be based on the ALFA modular platform, which also underpins the Altroz. The new micro SUV will rival the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the Mahindra KUV100 NXT.

The spy images confirm that the upcoming Micro SUV will have Harrier-inspired front fascia, featuring ‘Humanity Line’ front grille, split halogen headlamps with LED DRLs, radiator grille and dual-tone bumper, etc.

The SUV shares the interior layout and features with the Altroz hatchback. It gets a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, climate control, a multi-functional steering wheel, a Harman audio system, cruise control, and keyless entry with push button.

The Tata HBX micro SUV will be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that also powers the Altroz. This engine churns out 86bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT.
