French automaker, Renault will launch the Kiger sub-4 meter SUV in the Indian market in the next 2-3 months.
The new model will be based on the Renault-Nissan alliance’s CMF-A modular platform, which also underpins the new Nissan Magnite and the Renault Triber MPV. It will be available in affordable price.
The Renault Kiger will be offered with 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine in naturally-aspirated and turbocharged versions. While the former is good for 72bhp and 96Nm of torque, the turbocharged petrol engine offers 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT X-Tronic Automatic.
The sub-4 meter SUV will be equipped with several high-end comfort and convenience features such as touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, digital instrument console, cruise control, around view monitor, electric sunroof and many more.
